Our client Medlock FRB has delivered a vibrant and welcoming venue with inspiration taken from famous markets around the world. The market was developed on the back of public consultations to establish what kind of venue the people of Chester wanted to see. Based on this guidance are client delivered a modern, traditional market that’s welcoming for both the local community and visitors alike.
As part of the project, they delivered 39 timber stalls for traders, a performance stage, and a 400-cover communal dining and seating areas for members of the public to enjoy the amenities on offer.
The New Chester Market is not just a great new market hall concept, but an extremely valuable community asset. It was a privilege to capture this long-planned project and we look forward to seeing its success long into the future.
